I’ve bought a new Wii. I sold my old one some time ago because I was running short on cash and needed to pay off some debts. Well now I’m out of that situation it was time to get a new one.
So I headed into town and got myself the console, Wii Fit, EA Sports Active and Wii Sports Resort. After setting it up and having a go this afternoon I can confirm that I’m completely knackered! Although I’ve been going to the gym and working out very regularly of late, health-wise it doesn’t seem as though I’m close to where I believed I was. Both the Wii Fit and EA Sports Active have got me working on areas I’ve obviously not touched on at the gym and it’s been rather tiring taking on some of the exercises.
I knew I wanted to get my hands on the Balance Board and the new motion sensor with the sports game, with the EA title being something of a stab-in-the-dark as to whether I’d find it any good. Surprise surprise, it turns out to be the best of the bunch. In the box you get the game, a leg strap for holding the controller and a resistance band for use during some of the exercises. It’s also compatible with the balance board for a few of the activities. After half an hour working out on a medium intensity session I was wiped out! I’m working on the 30-day programme which will change my workout over a period of a month to try and achieve my set goals. Definitely worth the money.
Now I think I’m going to get back to Wii Sports Resort so that I’m fully prepared for next time I take @jeruss on!
