I though that whilst I was putting the poems on Blurb, I might as well have a go with a photo book as well. So here, for your viewing pleasure, is a selection of images from the Chatsworth Gallery, all printed in full colour and wonderfully bound in your choice of softback, hardback or hardback image-wrapped.

I’ve been playing around with the photos I took at Chatsworth House, and I’ve uploaded the results to the Photo Gallery and to Flickr. I’ve gone crazy with them and applied a number of different filters, making for a very eclectic collection.
Take a look in them in the Gallery or on Flickr, and let me know what you think.
I’ve been taking a look at editing some of my Chatsworth photos on this here Photoshop, and I have to say that as a complete beginner it is very daunting. Not only trying to find the right balance between the different elements, but also trying to figure out the terminology and what each of the tools does. But I’ve given it a go on one photo so far, and I’ve included a comparison image to this post. See what you think. I’ve played around with the curves and levels, as well as cranking up the colour of the grass slightly (see, I’m up with all the lingo!).
What do you think? Any suggestions for improvements or things you’d do differently?
The edited photo is now in the Gallery, where it will be joined by others once I’ve given them a once over.
I had a lovely time today taking a wander around the Chatsworth Estate. The weather stayed crisp and clear, and the company was extremely pleasant to boot! I shall be adding some photos to Flickr and to the gallery on here once I’ve uploaded them.
