I’ve been trying to think about where I would like to go on holiday for quite some time, but nothing ever really stood out for me. I’ve got my days away and the potential for the odd long-weekend in Europe somewhere. But I’ve wanted to think of doing something further afield, though nothing that entered my head really stuck there. Until last night.
I decided what I wanted to do – I want to drive across the States. No details as yet, but I’ve got a couple of people who’d like to come too, though I’d still go alone if they each decided it wasn’t for them. Now it’s a combination of planning and a huge amount of saving to get done. I’m hoping it’ll take place at some point during 2010. I’ll keep you all posted. 
What a very pleasant few days I’ve had. Unfortunately I now have to travel back to Bedford, which is not a prospect I’m looking forward to. Not just because I’ll be returning to Bedford, but because the weather outside is not nice, and I’ll be driving back in it in the dark this afternoon.
